Patterns and Books
Nancy Shroyer is the author of these patterns and books. Originally, she designed the various hats and sweaters based on our line of Digit™ Fingering Weight yarn. But in 2009, we stopped marketing that yarn and she redesigned her hats based on Brown Sheep's line of yarn. The colors are more vibrant because these are all solid color yarns as opposed to heathers. We think they are better than ever as a result.

She is also the author of the two books that we offer on this page. She has de-mystified the use of the Color Wheel in her Color Book and she has provided a simplified approach to Fair Isle Knitting in her book entitled: From Swatch to Blocking. Our books are invaluable to both new and experienced knitters.
