HDSS with Triple Skein Guide System installed
Now you can wind 3 skeins at one time on
our heavy duty swift and skein-winder.
Our design doesn't
just spread out the three skeins across a common surface, we have 3
separate zones on our yarn guides with complete separation
between skeins.
Our guides will not allow you to accidentally
intermingle the skeins like some other brands permit. Our 1/8" Lexan
brand separator discs are custom designed and are clear allowing you
to see the yarn in all three zones. The design does not allow yarn
to become trapped in the seams between the discs and the wooden
dowel. Lastly, since our dowels are continuously flat, which means
that all three skeins will measure the same length (unlike other
designs which have sculpted contours on the yarn guides).
Each zone measures 2.5" wide x 1.0" wall height (skeins can easily
accumulate more than 1" in height without difficulty), The
standard yarn guides on the HDSS measure 5.5" wide for a single
zone, the total net width of this Triple guide is 7.5" across 3
zones.
Best of all, our yarn guides can be
easily retrofitted to your existing HDSS by simply unscrewing the
standard arms and screwing on the new guides.
The table guide directs yarn directly to
the yarn guide posts.
The table guide can feed yarn from both
floor mounted cones or from
an adjacent swift or other horizontal
sources of yarn
The table guide is secured to the table
with two heavy duty clamps.
An extremely sturdy and secure design
The table guide unit can be easily
retracted back into the table and
out of the way by simply
loosening a knob and sliding the guide inward.
The 6 wireform guides are made from 1/8"
diameter stainless steel.
