NKK has videos on its Youtube channel and prefers that its customers do their own adjustments and repairs. However, if a repair, upgrade, or adjustment is necessary, the user may return the unit to NKK, freight prepaid, for such work and the following fees shall apply. NKK shall charge the user for the repair and the freight charges back to customer prior to shipping the unit back.
All repairs are warranted for 90 days (new motors are warranted for 1 year).
For international warranty repairs, customer is responsible for shipping the unit back to NKK in the USA and NKK will pay a maximum of the highest return shipping cost for a return made within the USA (48 contiguous states). The customer will be expected to pay the balance which shall be collected by NKK prior to shipment. Note: NKK does not charge international customers any more for their equipment purchases than it does domestic customers or for the warranty coverage, so having the customer bear the higher cost related to shipping units in for repair, both for warranty and out-of-warranty repair, is the manner in which NKK handles such situations. Customer is reponsible for shipping costs in both directions for out-of-warranty repairs.
