Our motorized skein-winders and swifts are commercial grade
equipment items. They are not consumer grade products (although many
consumers will purchase them). This is the type of
equipment that professionals, shop owners, and fiber related businesses
need and demand.
The equipment is expensive, yes, but it is far less
expensive than if a large company (with high overhead) was designing and manufacturing it.
This equipment could easily sell for 1-1/2 times of what we list it for
given the amount of engineering and the quality of materials and
construction that go into every item.
We design a complete line
of integrated products that share certain features and integration.
There is no other company in the industry that has such a complete line
of winders and measurement systems.
So, when you look at

consideration. This equipment is rock solid and will last a long time.

"Well, I was
really impressed with our Swift and Skein-winder products when we
developed them in 2010. But I must say, that our motorized option for
these units are even more impressive. We launched these motor drive
systems in 2011. They incorporated the integration of our new Electronic
Rotation Counter and our existing Electronic Yarn Meter. But more
importantly, they could be added onto existing swifts and skein-winders
already in the field. Just like our motorized Power Base could be easily
added to ball winders in the field, now this new motor drive system
could motorize swifts and skein-winders."
